Pelorus Jack

In the early 1960s, Van Lent built a series of polyester sailing yachts for an American client, including the Tripp 30 designed by William Tripp. The polyester hull and superstructure were produced at Werkspoor in Utrecht. The joinery and engine installation were completed at the yard. One yacht initially failed to cure properly and was rejected for export, but the problem was eventually resolved.
