Mijntje
In 1939, shipyard De Vlijt built a distinctive motor launch as a tender for the 30-metre sailing yacht Iduna, designed by H.W. de Voogt for Mr Van Ommeren. The launch, made from teak and oak, measured 4.96 metres and was powered by a Kermath Sea Bird petrol engine. Although intended to be placed on the aft deck of Iduna, it is uncertain whether this ever actually happened.
Construction began in December 1938 under the supervision of shipwright Joop Verhoef and was completed in April 1939. In 2009, then-owner Frank Bart contacted the yard in Aalsmeer. The boat, named Mijntje, was still in excellent condition.
