De Elft

De Elft is a twelve-metre extended Super Holland Cruiser with a rich history, built by Van Lent in 1935. The yacht drew attention at the HISWA show for her innovative design, luxurious interior and modern features, including electric lighting, a wine cabinet and a private toilet.

During the war years, she went into hiding in the Biesbosch to avoid German capture. After the liberation, De Elft returned to service as a vessel for official inspections. Generations of the Heere family have appreciated her charm and reliability.

In 2007, she underwent a thorough restoration by Theo Heere Jr., combining modern technology with the preservation of original details. De Elft is a tangible piece of floating heritage, a showcase of craftsmanship, history and family pride—ready for new journeys on the water.
