Big Dad

The 22.50-metre El Galgo – the fifth in the Caravelle series – was launched on 6 July 1964 and delivered to her Spanish owner a few months later. Five years later the yacht was sold to an Italian owner in Bologna who renamed her Big Dad and it’s still in the same family today. Over the years, it’s been refitted, but faithful to the original designs have been maintained. We’ve only changed the instrument mast to support new antennas and radar. We still live it with the family spirit and affection that this magnificent boat inspires, enjoying our holidays in the Mediterranean, from the Dodecanese to the Balearics, sharing our joy with friends and family.
