Just prior to its annual Mediterranean member event in conjunction with the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, the Feadship Heritage Fleet (FHF) announces its new partnership with Monaco Marine. Monaco Marine supports FHF at its highest ‘captain sponsor level’ as well as 2018 Grand Prix de Monaco Historique event sponsor.

Monaco Marine is a network of refit and maintenance shipyards for super and megayachts up to 180m+. Their expertise, know-how and ability to manage very large and complex refit projects allow them to reach the highest quality standards available on the market. Over 3,000 yachts undergo refit, repair or wintering at Monaco Marine shipyards every year. Thanks to its seven yacht facilities from Beaulieu-sur-mer to Marseille, its marina in Monaco and a unique mobile shipyard programme, Monaco Marine commits its expertise and contractors for refit and maintenance projects all around the world. With their specific mobile shipyard programme, their clients can now alternate technical pit stops and large refits to keep state of the art wherever they are around the world.

François Vila, Marketing & Communications Manager at Monaco Marine adds: “Similar to the FHF, Monaco Marine is dedicated to the heritage of Yachting especially concerning maintenance and refit programmes. After 22 years’ experience, Monaco Marine provides the best support for owners, captains and crew along the year and has gained a loyalty rate of over 80 per cent from our clients, which is its best reward for the work done on many prestigious yachts. Working with passion, providing the best tools, investing in the latest techniques, innovating for tomorrow and always keeping clients’ satisfaction in mind, that’s our everyday life.

Treasurer and also co-founder of the Feadship Heritage Fleet, Arthur van Berge Henegouwen is pleased with this partnership: “The FHF just celebrated its fifth anniversary, meanwhile has sixty five members and continues to organise very successful events for its members throughout the year. We are pleased that also respected companies such as Monaco Marine show interest in this exclusive owner’s club. We welcome partnerships under the condition that there is a natural fit between the classic fleet and the company. Yachts need service and Monaco Marine has an extensive service network in the Mediterranean, common ground for many classic Feadships, providing multiple locations for our fleet to go to. Classic Feadships are very well preserved and also refitted from time to time, Monaco Marine provides all these services. We are pleased that Monaco Marine offers FHF members an exclusive ten per cent discount on yard work.”
