Serena
Launched in 1964, Serena was fourth in the 74-foot Caravelle series designed by Carlo Riva and built by the De Vries Bros. yard in Aalsmeer. Under its current owner, the steel motoryacht has been extensively refurbished yet maintained certification in keeping with its Feadship heritage. Serena serves as a race committee vessel as well as support tender for the crew of the classic Sparkman & Stephens sailing yacht Dorade. Based in Newport, Rhode Island, Serena and Dorade sail from port to port each summer between Connecticut and Maine and are often comfortably rafted alongside.
